Overview
As I stated earlier todays economic playing field has changed, the players and the nature of the game are changing. As we’ve seen over the past few decades, the nouveau riche is growing exponentially. Don’t get me wrong old money, is still holding on to its legacy, but they too are working even harder to keep their money.
If the wealthy are working harder to keep their money, then I am sure you don’t have to imagine how hard the average person is working to keep their money. The strategies and methodologies of yesteryear are sending people to the poor house. I believe that the survivors of today’s market will be the ones with the ability to try radically different ideas and strategies to secure their financial futures.
I know that this is a scary concept for many of you; however, you need not fear change. Change is a wonderful thing and should actually inspire and encourage you because as long as there is change, there is hope. Recession = shift in money (change) = opportunity for you. It is not as if the money disintegrated or left the planet, it has simply changed hands. A recession simply means that the people who were once controlling the wealth no longer have this privilege and now the wealth is available for others with the ability to locate it and the drive to go get it!
This means that wherever you are in your current financial situation there is hope for you to overcome your obstacles and build a more secure future. I only ask one thing of you; please keep an open mind. A person’s ability to be coached, and open his or herself up to the possibility of trying new and radical things greatly impacts a person’s ability to succeed.
The Internet has afforded individuals around the world the opportunity to become wealthy with dot.com businesses. Web 2.0 and social media platforms have made reaching out to customers much easier and targeted. While the Internet is flooded with tons of people looking to “get rich quick”, market their latest MLM business, or scam you out of your hard earned money, there are still many very viable Internet based businesses.
Many of you have tried various start-up Internet business programs, participated in MLM programs or know people who have and have lost money and even failed. I know that this can lead to a negative perception of Internet or MLM businesses, and just the mere mention of them send many people running for the hills.
Believe it or not some of these programs work and are very effective tools for wealth building. Most of them are a waste of time, but some are not. Even big business moguls such as Donald Trump are now participating in MLM programs.
Did you know that Donald Trump now has a MLM program he is offering through his new Trump Network? I feel that Mr. Trump is an astute businessman and has built a strong empire by understanding the market and catering to it. His business ventures are also very diverse. He always has something to fall back on. If Donald Trump is leveraging the power of the Internet through attraction marketing, then the rest of us need to seriously consider changing the way we think about making money and business opportunities.
Every business opportunity is not for everyone. I know a lot of people who are very successful at selling Mary Kay and make six figure incomes working in their spare time. It is a very good business opportunity for certain personality types. I am not one of those personality types. I am not good with these types of businesses.
Over the years I have learned to harness my talents, skills, and abilities to align with my unique personality. I know what does and does not work for me because I understand myself and I know myself. This is the first step.
I hope to help all of you learn to think radically, to learn to harness your unique skills and identify business opportunities and a target audience to market. Additionally, I plan to share a variety of marketing strategies and tactics that will help you increase your customer base and revenue.
Hold on to your hats, it’s going to be an exhilarating experience.
