As many of you have witnessed over the past few years, the bottom has fallen out of the global economy. While the future appears dismal to many, economists predict that it may take up to a decade for the world’s economy to recover. I would like to challenge you to reposition yourself—think outside of the box and dare to be different.
These are undoubtedly terms that have become somewhat of a cliché and synonymous with stepping out of your comfort zone, feelings of failure and a fear of the unknown. I hate to be the one to break this to you, but the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results.
If you are doing the same things that you were doing before the economic crisis and expecting different results, then you are living in insanity. Why? Because the game and the playing field are now completely different. If you don’t try something new and open yourself up to a new way of thinking, you may not be able to provide a secure future for you and your family.
Many of us bought into the “American Dream”. Go to school, get a degree or two, get a job at a Fortune 500 company, invest in a company matching 401K, buy a home and you can retire wealthy.
I am going to share with you why this does not work and strategies that you can use to become financially free. By this I don’t mean simply living debt free, purchasing a new home, car, designer clothes or taking one or two vacations a year. What I am describing to you is a lifestyle one in which few know of or can even imagine.
The key to this lifestyle is entrepreneurship, becoming your own boss, setting your own schedule. If you can’t envision yourself working for yourself, then you might as well STOP reading now. I can’t promise or help anyone get a job, but I can open your eyes to new opportunities and share successful strategies that have produced significant results for me and many of my colleagues.
I don’t know about you but I don’t want to work for someone else making them rich while I remain poor or even worse middle class. I equate middle class with not being rich or poor, just average, never moving forward or backward—in a state of purgatory. This is exactly where a job will lead you—Just Over Broke! They pay you enough to keep you, but not enough for you to succeed.
Now jobs definitely work for some individuals, however, this is such a small percentage of the population. Yes if you graduated in the top 5% of your class from an Ivy League school, come from money, or plan on annihilating everyone in your path on the way up the corporate latter then a job might be just for you.
If you’re like me an average girl from an average middle class family, who attended a college, made decent grades and spent her entire professional career making millions of dollars for Fortune 500 companies, only to barely get ahead. If this is you, then you definitely want to continue reading to learn how you can change your current situation and make your dreams a reality.
When I think of lifestyle I imagine setting my own schedule, working for myself with the flexibility to travel when I want. Two or three weeks of vacation are simply not my idea of living the good life. I want the freedom, income, and flexibility to work remotely, allowing me a lifestyle that is conducive to enjoying life and spending time with my family.
I recognize that this might not be everyone’s ideal lifestyle, however, no matter which lifestyle you chose to live we all need to take one simple business step—identifying your unique niche!
Through the course of our journey together, I will help you identify your niche and impart strategies that will put you on the path to building your own Internet, MLM, global, import/export or which ever business best supports the lifestyle you want for yourself.
